ROADMAP TO BECOMING A NUCLEAR QUALIFIED SUPPLIER

Our Roadmap to Becoming a Nuclear Qualified Supplier provides an overview of the nuclear quality standards that may be required for a company wishing to adopt its practices or management systems in order to become a nuclear supplier.

We will use this Roadmap to help potential suppliers develop a transition plan for entering the nuclear market, and then work with these companies to successfully implement their transition plan.

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING ROADMAP FOR THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY

OCNI’s Advanced Manufacturing Roadmap, produced with partners KSB and Kinectrics, provides the Canadian nuclear industry with information on the advantages of additive manufacturing and how it can be methodically adopted to help sustain the Canadian CANDU fleet until 2065 and beyond and to enable Canada to be a leader in SMR development and deployment through potential cost savings on the manufacture of specific SMR components.

The Roadmap provides:

  • A comprehensive overview of the current status of Advanced Manufacturing development and application in the nuclear industry.
  • Outlines next steps to the end of 2021 and 2022.
  • Sets out a ten-year vision and beyond.
  • A high-level plan on how to develop advanced manufacturing capacity in the nuclear supply chain.
  • Highlights some of the ongoing projects in the nuclear advanced manufacturing space.
